Puppy hiccups

Puppies often get very excited when it comes to mealtime. This can cause them to inhale lots of air when they are eating which leads to hiccups. These are perfectly normal and will go away on their own! The frequency of the hiccups should decrease as your puppy learns to slow down at mealtime. Is your puppy still not slowing down?

Here is a helpful tip! Split your dog’s kibbles into a muffin pan to slow them down while eating.
